Skyline Chili Dip
My family and I have been fans of Skyline as long as I can remember. We believe that there is no other chili better than Skyline. Our Family loves dining-in at Skyline, as soon as we order in a blink of an eye our food is already on the table in front of us. My family loves everything from Skyline, chili cheese coneys, chili cheese fries, 3-way, 4-way, and especially the chili dip! The only problem we have when going to Skyline is that we don't know what to get each time we go because everything on the menu is delicious. My family and I always leave with big smiles on our faces and full stomachs, also my parents don't go broke taking us there to eat since the meals are fulfilling but inexpensive.
I believe the best thing next to the chili cheese coneys is the Skyline chili dip. The dip is very delicious and can be prepared for just about any event, parties, football Sundays, or just for fun. Skyline chili dip is the best for when company is about to come over, all the ingredients can be found around the kitchen and can be made from left overs so grocery shopping for this dip is almost unnecessary. The dip is easy to serve since it is eaten with corn chips or tortilla chips and this eliminates any mess that can be associated with other dips.
Recipe:
One 12 oz. package softened cream cheese
One 13 oz. frozen Skyline Chili thawed OR one 15 oz. can of Skyline Chili
¼ cup diced onions (optional)
12 oz. Skyline shredded mild cheddar cheese
Spread softened cream cheese evenly on bottom of 9 x 13 microwaveable casserole dish. Heat chili according to package directions. Pour heated Skyline Chili over cream cheese. Sprinkle diced onions (optional) on top of chili. Cover with Skyline shredded mild cheddar cheese.
Conventional oven: heat at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is completely melted.
Microwave oven: heat on high for 2 minutes or until cheese is completely melted.
Let stand 5-10 minutes before serving. Serve with nacho or corn chips.
